On 25 February 2025, Yu Fung Broker attended the Professional Insurance Brokers Association’s spring dinner at Gordon Wu Hall, B P International, Tsim Sha Tsui.

The dinner attracted nearly 500 attendees, including senior representatives from the Legal Department and the Market Conducts Department of the Hong Kong Insurance Authority, alongside executives from leading insurance companies and prominent industry professionals.

Founded in 1988, the Professional Insurance Brokers Association (PIBA) is an industry association supporting professional development and communication within Hong Kong’s insurance brokerage sector. Its former self-regulatory functions ended in September 2019, when the Insurance Authority took over the direct regulation of insurance intermediaries.
PIBA continues to provide member services, training and a forum for industry exchange. Membership is distinct from an insurance broker company licence, which is issued by the Insurance Authority.
Looking forward, Yu Fung Broker remains dedicated to upholding the highest professional standards and strengthening its collaboration with industry bodies such as PIBA to contribute to the sustainable development and professionalism of Hong Kong’s insurance brokerage sector.
