On December 4, 2025, YF Life and the Hurun Research Institute jointly released the “YF Life · Hurun Wealth 2025 White Paper on Financial Investment Needs and Trends of China’s High-Net-Worth Individuals” (YF Life · Hurun Mapping the Investment Landscape for China HNWI 2025) (hereinafter referred to as the “report”) and held a grand launch event. The report aims to explore the latest trends and long-term developments of China’s high-net-worth individuals in areas such as financial asset allocation, overseas investment portfolio construction, selection of financial institutions, and insurance needs. Yu Fung Insurance Brokerage, as an important partner, was invited to attend, along with numerous industry guests, to witness this significant moment.

As a leading company in the Hong Kong insurance industry, YF Life has long been committed to expanding the global wealth map for insurance assets and helping an increasing number of clients better manage risks and wealth. During the formation of the report, YF Life and the Hurun Research Institute jointly conducted a dedicated survey of 500 high-net-worth individuals. The respondents had an average age of 44 and an average family net worth of 37 million RMB, with over half being business owners. The report presents a series of key findings, including asset allocation characteristics of high-net-worth individuals such as “professionally driven, long-term oriented, prudent first, adaptable to circumstances,” among others. Notably, high-net-worth individuals have shown a trend of increasing allocation to defensive and flexible assets, with insurance assets playing a key foundational role in both current and future wealth planning.
