YF Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Gordon Liu as Managing Director, effective July 2026.
Mr Liu will oversee the Group’s global compliance framework and institutional partnership strategy. His appointment supports the continued development of YF Group’s financial-services capabilities for high-net-worth clients across the Asia-Pacific region.
Mr Liu holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Mercer University in Georgia, United States. He also completed undergraduate studies in business administration, combining a strong academic grounding in finance with practical corporate-management experience.
He brings more than 20 years of senior management experience across financial compliance, investment banking, listed companies and multinational financial institutions. His previous appointments have included Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Assistant to the President, with responsibilities spanning Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Mr Liu began his career with Fubon Financial Holding and HSBC Private Bank in Hong Kong before moving into senior roles at international institutions including ANZ Bank and DBS Bank. His work has covered corporate finance, capital markets, wealth management, business operations and client service.
In recent years, he has focused on cross-border compliance and the governance of licensed financial institutions. He has advised on the practical implementation of regulatory requirements and supported licence applications, capital operations, business expansion and international management.
