The Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (the "Ordinance") governs the handling of personal data and other information ("Data") collected from clients or individuals (“Client”, "you", or "your"), held, processed and used by Yu Fung International Holdings Company Limited ("YFIL"). Failure to provide your Data to YFIL may result in an inability to process applications for products and/or services.

Purpose
Your Data may be utilized for the following purposes:
a) Processing applications for services and products, as well as providing services for such applications (if applicable);
b) Verifying or assessing any data and records pertaining to you;
c) Facilitating communication between you and YFIL;
d) Delivering services related to your account;
e) Managing, operating, and maintaining your account.
f) Exercising the rights granted by the contract or agreement between YFIL and yourself, including pursuing claims against you and collecting outstanding debts;
g) Providing products or services intended for your use by YFIL and/or members of Yu Fung International group's consultants, affiliates, related companies, collaborating institutions, or related institutions;
h) Complying with any obligations of YFIL, or any relevant requirements or arrangements to adhere to laws, rules, regulations, codes, or guidelines;
i) Any other purpose related to or incidental to the aforementioned purposes; and/or
j) Direct marketing (provided you have given your consent).

Transfer of Information
YFIL may transfer or disclose your Data within or outside Hong Kong to the following parties:
a) YFIL, Yu Fung International group members or any of their branches or affiliates or any agents, contractors, subcontractors, collaborating institutions, suppliers, professional advisers or service providers of any member (including but not limited to other service providers, brokers and information technology vendors in Hong Kong or other jurisdictions);
b) any organization/person who has a non-disclosure agreement with YFIL and has promised to keep such information confidential;
c) any organization/person who represents you or plans to represent you in any activities or transactions;
d) any financial institution or credit information service provider; and debt collection agencies in case of default;
e) any actual or proposed assignee of YFIL or participant or sub-participant or assignee of YFIL’s rights in relation to you;
f) any person or entity pursuant to any local or foreign law, regulation, government, tax, enforcement or regulatory body or other authority, or self-regulatory or industry body or financial service provider association (as applicable); or in order to comply with obligations, requirements or under any present or future contractual or other arrangements, or any legal requirements relating to YFIL’s and/or Yu Fung International group’s commitment or undertaking due to its financial, commercial, business or other interests or activities in or relating to local jurisdiction or foreign jurisdiction’s law, regulation or requirements imposed by government, tax, law enforcement or other authorities, or self-regulatory or industry bodies or associations information relating to products and/or services you apply for ((whether in your name or jointly with others), which may be provided by YFIL’s representatives and/or agents to credit information service providers, regulators, or any other institutions/persons mentioned above :

g) any person or entity to whom YFIL has an obligation to comply with any legally enforceable disclosure required by any agency, any law enforcement agency or regulator in compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, codes and guidelines or under any law, rule, regulation, code.

Direct Marketing
YFIL may use your personal information (including but not limited to your name, phone number, address, email address) for direct marketing for products and services provided by YFIL, Yu Fung International group members or its affiliates, including insurance, financial services, education, family office, migration, medical concierge services, company communications, seminar information and related special offers.
However, YFIL must obtain your prior consent of before sending any direct marketing material to you. You have the right to choose whether to accept any direct marketing service.
In the case of direct marketing, if you want to opt out of YFIL’s use of any of your personal data for direct marketing purpose, you may make submission in writing to YFIL’s Personal Data Protection Officer.

YFIL may use and/or disclose your Data in accordance with YFIL’s Personal Data Collection Statement. You have the right to:
a) check whether YFIL holds your personal data and review such data;
b) request YFIL to correct any inaccurate personal data relating to you; and
c) ascertain the policies and practices relating to your personal data.
YFIL reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for any request to access your data.
