Karen Yip

Karen holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of South Australia and a degree in Accounting from the City University of Hong Kong. Over the past decade, she has focused on insurance-related financial and analytical work. Notably, she spent seven years as the Hong Kong and Singapore Finance Manager at Jardine Lloyd Thompson PCS Ltd. (now merged with Mercer PCS). In this role, she provided key accounting and regulatory compliance advice, developed financial budgets and accounting systems, and successfully obtained an insurance brokerage license for the company in 2015.
Following her tenure at Jardine Lloyd Thompson, Karen continued her career in the finance departments of Sun Life and AIA. There, she concentrated on financial budgeting, expenditure management, and data analysis. Additionally, she developed accounting and financial analysis systems aimed at improving work efficiency and accuracy for her colleagues, while helping to enhance the company's competitiveness and profit growth.
