● Loughborough University, UK, Master’s degree in Marketing Management (First Class Honours)
● Wuhan University, dual bachelor’s degree in Economics and English Language and Literature
● ALMI (Associate Life Insurance Manager) qualification holder
● Member of MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table Conference)
● Qualification for Life Insurance Practice in Mainland China and Hong Kong
● Proficient in English, Chinese, and Cantonese
Professional resume and core achievements:
Ms Yang has more than 15 years of insurance and financial-services experience in domestic and international markets. Her work has covered high-net-worth client services, insurance brokerage operations, private-banking partnerships, product development and business management.
At Marsh McLennan’s private client services business in Asia, known as Jardine Lloyd Thompson during 2016–2019, she served as Executive Director. She worked with private banks including UBS, Julius Baer, Citi, BNP Paribas and Crédit Agricole on large-case insurance solutions for ultra-high-net-worth clients in North Asia, contributing to annualised premium growth. Partner banks also recognised her contribution to their high-net-worth business.
At AIA China, she helped develop a high-net-worth client team, bring together tax, legal and medical expertise, and expand large-case insurance services.
At AXA China in 2009, she developed solutions combining high-end group medical insurance and enterprise annuities, with related monthly premiums exceeding RMB100 million.
Ms Yang began her career in the United Kingdom, where she received recognition from Marcus Evans Group for her work in the China market.
Her appointment strengthens Yu Fung’s capabilities in high-net-worth insurance services and institutional business management.
